Validating your client's experience is vital in the customer service relationship. Skipping over this step will only turn the already dissatisfied client against you and make every step of the process painful resulting in poor customer satisfaction surveys and lack of referrals.
In every client complaint, there is a nugget of truth... even if it is very small. If you are able to approach a client compliant with curiosity instead of defensiveness you will be able to not only provide excellent customer service but also improve your product.
When a client is dissatisfied with your product or service it is due to a perceived loss of trust. Learning to provide clarity to your client allows you to restore trust and win back your dissatisfied customer.
People pleasing and getting people to "like you" is not enough to achieve customer satisfaction... and certainly will not earn you high survey ratings. Authentic connection and a genuine interest in resolving issues is what sets companies apart!
As a certified Biblical counselor and coach, I spend the majority of my time navigating difficult conversations, creating clarity, and facilitating transformation.
I have discovered that the effective communication skills that I developed in private practice transcends the counseling room. It radically changed my everyday conversations. And that is how The Art of Persuasive Conversations was born.
The Art of Persuasive Conversations framework walks your team through the 4 steps to improving everyday conversation in difficult situations and challenging clients to deliver a 5 star experience.
